Hi all,
I've got a bit of a dilemma I'm looking to make my 90 GT go faster but I dont know what to do. I've got a 500 dollar budget right now and the car is stock except for an x-pipe cat back, shift kit and A/C delete. Now when I got the car the guy I bought it from gave me a 31 spline 3.73 traction lock rear should I invest in getting the stuff I need to put that in the car or take another route?

Did you get the pinion gear with the 3.73s? Are the clutches and spyder gears installed in the carrier? If you have all that then you can buy 4 lug 31 spline axles and use that carrier and gears(needs to be installed by a professional). If not then you can have gears installed using your current carrier but you'll probably need a rebuild as well(needs to be installed by a professional). Both routes are within in or just over your budget. Most likely over..

Well i dont know this probably goes exactly with your question but i found it interesting. See my brother picked up a 89lx 5.0 5 speed with a cobra intake and maximum motorsport coilovers and a 3.55 gears and a paxton supercharger pushing stock boost other than that its completely stock . I dont even think it has been tune either? And on a 100 degree day at the track it went 12.76 at 105 all day long which i thought it was very impressive considering thats all that is done to the car. If i had a chance to do it first to mine before i did the other things i think io would have had a lot of fun on and off the track. for a lot of years. Anyway i thought i would pass it on and tell others . thanks hope it helps in someway.

Oh i forgot 24 pound injectors too but i thought the money it was good buy considering how much of those things u can find on e bay for some good prices if your patient. thanks for reading it.
