sn95 331 yellow, glad to see that i'm not alone on the yellow and the Cobra R's is what this guy is giving me for free that's why I ask if I should go with black rims because he got them painted black but if they are free would you complain lol? I am going to try them to see what they look like and if I don't like them to craigslist.com they go lol!
anyways, if they are Y2K's ill take them off your hands.
dont bother with the Cobra intake, save up for a good HCI and if the budget allows stroke and poke the beast...

I will try and find a picture of the rims and you tell me what year they are I am thinking they are 95. Well all I want to do right now is change the upper and lower intake because the motor only has 64,000 orginal miles. All I need to know is can a 93 cobra upper and lower intake fit my car.

you need a cobra intake from a 94/95 Cobra because we have the little elbow before the TB. if you want to do a little cheap performance upgrade, do a Cobra intake, 70mm TB, 1.7 pedestal rockers, upgrade springs and retard the cam 4*. itll run pretty good and no mess with the computer (youre gonna learn these things are VERY picky when it come to running right)...

If you're going to spend the time tracking down, and then spend the money for a 94/95 Cobra intake, I think it would be worth looking into an aftermarket one that will flow better. From my understanding, the Cobra intakes dont flow *that* much more than stock, and wont make much of a difference anyway unless you start moving more air. i.e. bigger/better heads, cam, headers, etc......
For the record, I've owned an '89 GT and a '95 GT, so I've been around the block, so to speak.
I guess what I'm saying is, for a little less time, and a little more money, you could have a better intake, if thats something you really want. A better intake will make you that much more ready for future mods you may end up doing on down the line.
EDITED:
PS, If I was going to stay with a Ford intake, I'd try to find a nice used GT 40, although I'm not sure it would work with a SN95 body, because of the layout of the engine bay and all. Maybe someone here will know.
