Default What am I looking at?

I am putting my 2004 Mach 1 on craigslist (if CL will ever work :/) and buying an sn95 5.0 or foxbody with intensions of going F/I but i dont know a whole lot about the 5.0 or F/I and would like a little help. I originaly wanted to get a porsche 944 T and do an LSX swap but my Dad has no interest in that and I need his help lol. First off, I am selling my Mach because I am tired of paying about $600+ a month to drive it and because I want to go really fast lol. Eventual goal is 500+ whp through a single turbo setup, but I need some direction. How should I go about doing this? My Dad and I will be doing this as a project together and I will be funding it completely. I will have about 10000 towards a project car and a dd car(3000 budjet) and then the rest will be for the build + the remainder of my monthly income.

Keep in mind I dont really know what im doing but here is what I think I want (I am guessing it will take about 10000 to build this car like this not including suspension?):

-Bored to 5.3l
-single turbo over 10lbs boost
-fully forged, balanced, blueprinted
-streatable
-T-56 (eventually)
-built rearend(Dont really know what I need)

Should I just take the motor to a shop(The Mustang Shop) and go over a build with them?

Here is a car I am looking at because it already has a turbo kit, dont know what kind but if it is a good kit(not eBay) then I will be interested.

LAY IT ON ME! - Thanks

I found a few affordable turbo kits, wondering if anyone has had any experience with them?

I'm selling my ~400hp 347 powered Cobra... which is also priced in your price range.... something you might want to consider.

$25k+ worth of parts. Unless you are one of the "i like to build it myself" kind of guys...

the car is perfectly streetable, I drove it as a DD this past summer

Wow, too bad you live almost exactly across the U.S. from me lol. I kinda want a project but it would be nice to buy one already done...
