new to 94 cobra !!

Default new to 94 cobra !!

well im finally selling my 03 v6 mustang and stepping up to a 94 cobra and i have some questions. what are some mods i can do to the motor that will add horse power and keep my car a daily driver im not looking to do anything extreme yet, just until i get a house im currently in a apartment im gonna rebuild the motor, so im wondering if should get a mild cam? suggestions please

I've got the Crane 2031 cam in mine and i love it. It's basically a more computer-friend E-Cam. do the usual stuff...gears, throttle body, exhaust, etc etc...

do the 94 cobra's have more or less sensors compared to an 03 GT??

well pretty much the same...given they both have IAT sensors..O2 sensors..MAF...IAC valve...EGR stuff...

pretty much any EFI car needs a good tune if any major mods are being done..you're not gonna need to get into any of that unless you go with a blower...you'll be fine with bolt ons..

sweet, now im thing about doing underdrive pulleys, cold air intake ,exhaust any other suggestions?

Don't underdrive the water pump. The factory pulley on our cars is actually overdriven. Underdrives a pretty much a waste anyway. Don't get the CAI that goes into the fender, My ex wife hydro-locked her '96 GT with one. If you can hold out, do gears first, then save up for a Trick Flow top end kit...that's what i wish i would've done.

ok , ive seen that trick flow kit is it about $2,000? now later on when i get a house i wanna super charger the car will this top end kit still be useful or will i have to change some parts?

Give or take, yea, i think 50resto has the best deal on it. Shouldn't take you long if you get a house with a garage! apartments are no fun for working on cars, as long as it's running good and dependable i wouldn't mess with it till you got the time/money to do so. It sucks running out of funds and being on a time frame!
