should I buy this motor?
a friend at school has a motor out of a mid to late 80's f-150. i have a 94 gt with 150000 miles i was planning on building it up a little this winter anyway.
he wants 500 for the motor never ran after rebuild 306 world product Sr. heads with roller rockers not sure what cam is in it but probably for a truck. so i would swap that out. he also said it has flat top pistons don't know if they are aftermarket? also i don't know the differences of the truck 5.0 and the mustang 302. i want to stick with fuel injection. i probibly would get injectors? and an intake trick flow, or gt40 and port and polish that.

So your saying the motor out of the F series truck is the one that was built to a 306? I guess my biggest question is why after all the work did he not run the motor? I could be completely wrong but it sounds like there might be something wrong with the motor if he never even tested it. Why do all the work and not even test fire the motor?
