If i can get 300 lbs off the car (easy just need money) it should go 8.05s with ease. Need to get it down to 5.1x in the 1/8th to compete at the head of the classes though

Do you have people you can count on though if you break any of those one off pieces on that motor? That thing could get really expensive quick if you hurt that piece. Do you have a plan for that, in case you break one of those rockers or so? Do you know the guy or place that fabbed all those pieces? Just wondering man, I would do your homework and get all the phone numbers that may have been called when that engine was first built.

I got the motor from ilmor engineering, who does a lot of work with my engine builder Scorpion racing engines, Phil over there can get anything I need pretty much for this motor. I thought about that rocker issue and asked to get 2 complete spare sets with 2 sets of the stands because they are cnc'd from billet. Ilmor made all of those pieces and they have 3 or 4 more of these exact motors sitting around still so I have spare parts if its something I dont have. I basically have enough of the custom parts to make a complete second motor as of now would just need the internals which you can have made easily. I am changing out the rods and pistons to a more heavy duty set but the 5000 dollar crank is going to stay.
