Default 95 mustang gt not cranking

I just bought a 1995 mustang gt 5.0 automatic not running. I am getting fire out the coil but not out of the disturtor. i have replaced the electrical box between the altornator and radiator. I have also replaced the ingiton module as well as the cap and rotor button. i think it must eather be a ecu, a disturtor or there are 3 loose wires under the dash on the drivers side ( could that be a part of the securty system locking me out?) or a crank postion sensor. any help on how to isolate the problem? i would love local help im in bham alabama. it would be nice if someone had a 94-95 and wanted to trade some stuff.

if you have spark at the coil, but no at the plugs.. you need to check your ignition wires and distributor cap/rotor. There isnt anything else tha would afect spark down that path, unless you have a bad wire.

also, you need to learn the difference between "does not crank" and "does not start"

if ti doesnt crank, that means the engine doesnt turn at all when you hit the key.

if it doesnt start, that means it will crank and crank and crank... but never truly start running.

so which is it?

It does not start but will crank. My wires are fine as is my cap and rotor button. It must be something else.

You get spark out of coil? Not out of distributor. Rotor is turning? Bad coil wire.

if you get spark at the coil, but not at the plug... the problem lies in the wires, cap, rotor and plug

end of story
