it worked pretty well the car is way louder outside now then it is inside which was the plan but it is heavy we didnt even used all of it and it was like 25 lbs put in and had a good deal left over

I wouldn't mind putting dynamat in the TRUNK (maybe rear seat area) only. weight there wouldn't really matter much, might actually help plant the tires.

but to dynamat the whole floorboard? **** would probably be 100+ lbs. but it would be quiet as hell.

yeah i would not be doing the whole floor, just from the rear seat to the trunk, my carpet has that thick backing on it, which cuts noise pretty well, its just got a lot of noise coming from the rear of the car. air leaks are the least of my concern, hell when its decent out i usually have the windows open or cracked anyway.

i was reading up on that lizard skin stuff, could you roll it on with a paint roller vs spraying it on?

I would personally wanna spray it. much simpler, and get all the little cracks and junk easy. Otherwise you'll just be gloping it out and pushing it around trying to fill all the little area's a roller cant get.

gotcha. that project would deff have to wait till summer/spring then, when i plan to paint my bumper anyhow. its a balmy 20 degrees right now, tad too cold to do any sort of painting and expect it to stick lol

go for it, reading the coverage of how much each size covers, 1 gal of lizard skin should cover the rear seat area and the trunk. then ill lay some dynamat on top for added sound deadening. that plus my plans on having a headliner installed will really make the inside nice and quiet.

hardest part will be stripping the interior from the rear seat back and masking it all, cuz id prolly spray it with the top up to cover the rear shocktowers and area where the top pump sits... which is all under the convertible well (aka extra cargo space haha)

yea.

keep me updated. but I will probably install some in the trunk atleast a little but I will probably wait until I go to install the rollbar, racing seats, tear out the rear seats, and install some new carpet. Probably toward the end of this year all that will happen. Just trying to get my POS back on the road at the moment.
