JW, how does this motor sound? I know might need a better cam, but give opinions...

what hp about? And It has a 100 shot of nitrous, im sure that adds 100hp when you spray right? Anything I should be on the lookout before I actually buy? I was gonna do a wet/dry cylinder test and check the VIN..

could use a bump in compression, TFS 3 cam is NOT a bad cam at all actually, if its actually as clean as it looks, offer him $5k and go from there...

FWIW, C4 with a gear in the back is gonna be pretty hardcore on the highway...

not a bad looking LX tho...

I would say go for it that LX looks nice. Make sure the 8th digit in the Vin# is E. hope it's real and not a swap. If it is a swap you might have unseen issues the owner will leave out.

the guy im getting it from says it has 3000 on the motor, anyway to tell a little? He said he got it from someone, who that person got it from someone who built it...

And he said that person tuned it for the motor and nitrous..

And if I get this, I plan to supercharge it and i guess change the intake?


and an estimate on HP? I would guess 290-310 on motor, and mabye 400 with a shot?

the intake and compression are gonna hurt the numbers, but with 11:1 and something like a TFS R-Series or an EFI Spyder, i can see it getting close to 350rwhp honestly...

TFS 3 cam has a 110* LSA, not the best for a blower or nitrous honestly...

302Army got ~320+ rwhp on a 9:1 with TF 170TW heads and a TFs 2 cam...

FWIW, C4 is gonna take a little away, but with a good stall you might get some air under the left front when you launch

yeah i ended up selling it for about half of what it was worth just to get rid of it and some cash now im having issues selling my c4. yes change the intake to an efi box r intake or a victor efi

okay i asked for the vin, and hours later the guy calls me up and says the vin says the car is a GT. And it looks like someone rivited a new vin plate on the dash, but it matches the title...

he said he had no idea about it....

and he said now he will take 4900 what he paid


should I even look at it now?

I say still go for it and offer him $4500, but make sure you look it over top to bottom. If you don't feel right, then don't convince yourself to get it just walk away.
