He said he rebuilt it with westco or something pistons and stock everything else, I seen in the engine picture it has an electric fan that looks like a 4cyl fan? The 8th digit in the vin is an E, so it wasnt a 4cyl but what if the interior was swapped too?

my 92 notch was just as nice and my interior was immaculate and I had more performance mods than that one and had a tough time getting 3500, that car is a 3.5 to4k car max, at least that's the most I'd pay

now days performance mods lowers the value of these. Atleast thats how it is with me. I turned down a hevily modded notch that had crappy paint and okay interior for this one. and that one was 4500. plus, i want to learn so I want to do it all.

So no way even if it is super mint it would be worth 5k?

oh and how could i tell if it was a 4cyl at one time? like any big features? i'm sure its not I just want to be sure.

I drove 250 miles to look at a notch and turned it down, so I know how that feels. Good luck with your decision.

the only 5.0's that carry value are all original low mileage untouched ones.......after that most fall under the modded category which sky is the limit for price, If a tire kicker came to my door trying to tell me the mods on my car lowered it's value, therefore I should sell it at a lower price, I'd tell the azzhat to go look elsewhere, that's like going to the "Gap" to buy a fancy pair of jeans and telling them that they should sell you the pair of jeans at a "wal-mart" price cause you saw a simialar pair there for half the price , I mean jeans are jeans right??........when all along you shouldn't be shopping at the gap with a wal-mart mentality......................if you look long enough you'll find a decent one for 3-4k, but then again that's my limit for used high mileage/rebuilt foxbodies nowadays. I'm sure at 5k it has isssues that the seller is either unaware of or hasn't disclosed , I paid over 4k for my vert and after I got it on a lift, I found alot of stuff the buyer had hidden/ not disclosed, had I of known or found the stuff, I'd of knocked 1.5k off the 4.5 k purchase price.....but I was 200 miles away from home and no lift if you like it at it's worth it to you, it's your money

I would keep looking too much money and to be honest it dosen't look all that great . mjr46 knows what he's talking about so true.. good luck and keeping searching, it took me two years to find the one in my signature and man was it worth the wait! Don't rush out there and buy somebody else's headache....... I paid less for mine

price is a bit high for my tastes. you can find better for cheaper. these cars are only worth as much as someone is willing to pay.
