Change the gears in the differential. It is a lame ratio.

plan on going with 3.73. also want to get a pair of afr, trickflow, or BLUE THUNDER heads

Blue Thunder's? really? i hope you step your compression up to like 14:1 at least. Also your gonna need at least a 4.125 bore to unseat the valve in the chamber

probably end up with some afrs, then change pistons to lower compression and throw some turbos on

So, essentially - you don't know your end-game yet. But I agree with one of the original responses... I wouldn't expect much more than 300

Using Desktop Dyno 2003 it says 385 hp and 376 trq. Dont know how close it truely is.It seems like a good program. Had to enter my specs for cam, heads, intake, compression, bore, stroke and carb. When I am finished with it. I will be putting it on a dyno and will post Dyno sheet.

Mainly a street toy. Will diff see some track time. Seems like the only thing holding me back are my heads. This is my 1st engine build, so I am happy with what I got. I can always throw some NOS on.

Take it to a 1/4 mile drag strip, run it.
When you get a MPH, have the car weighed.
With the wieght and the MPH we can come up with a minimum HP number.
BTW, you may be surprised at how little HP it takes to run 110MPH.......
