I have a 9 inch rim that i want to fit 275's on for my 89 vert... does anybody know if i will be able to fit them without having to roll the fenders or anything? Just wondering before i order them and realize i can't use them until i do something. thanks!

if you dont have it dropped rediculously low, you will need to either flip or remove the quad shocks.

rolling the fenders is just a smart thing to do.

+1. I got lucky on my 93. The lips were already rolled and the quads were already flipped. Quads will be gone as soon as spring comes and I can put some new upper and lower control arms on it.

As for rolling the fenders you could always try the baseball bat method but I would find a body shop that has the tool to do it and get it done. Not mandatory but would be nice for peace of mind.

I guess it all depends on the backspacing and all that (I'm no wheel/tire fitment pro)... But I have 17X9R/17X8F (275/40/17's on rear) Cobra Deep Dish staggered replicas on my 89 hatchback, with the QuadShocks removed and I have absolutely no rubbing. I even have CJPonyParts Sportline (Eibach Sportline) springs which drop it pretty low. Hope this helps?

It will depend on what wheel you are running. I have 275/40/17's on 98 GT wheels (only 8"wide though) with no rubbing issues after flipping the quad shock
