Getting ready for coyote

total street car my *****.
I have seen plenty of builds that are turbo'ed run single digit 1/4 miles, and get driven to work every day.
its not that damn hard. just expensive, and you have the right parts.

I don't want a drag car, I want a total street car. I might take it to the road race course. Plus this is what I like doing. I have a 1993 Dodge shadow that I did an AWD, DOHC just because I wanted to know if I could do it. So do any one actually have any thing useful to say. Do I need to cut up the fire wall or anything major like that?

I think we should let this thread die. Sounds like we have your typical 17-19 year old kid that just hasnt got a friggin clue.
a few months down the road, he'll slam his car into a tree/telephone pole/mailbox/guardrail/car and this whole thread would have been for nothing.

Lol adder with the kill! Again!
Look at kurgan motorsports. They jus did a 5.0 swap in a notch that turned out pretty good. These engines r always about the same size, no need in cuttin fire wall.
Need a k member for the swap, engine, computer and wiring, correct fuel system, trans, exhaust might need to be custom, suspension and a built rear for the power, stifen the body for power out put, cooling system for adequate cooling, gotta figure out the whole power steering and power brake Thingy and how to properly make it work or go to manual brakes and steering, I think it's drive by wire so u gotta figure that out.
Now if u do this yourself u r looking at around 25,000 not including the car... Oh and it could be more

could be?? it will be more...
but again as stated, for 25k, you could have a ***** out turboed 347 with a nice driveline and suspension that you can drive every day and be light years faster than a coyote 5.0 swap....
though if the op is going for the wow factor every time he pops the hood... id put a coyote 5.0 in an old Torino or a 60's ford sedan...

Lol na not more u gotta remember I'm not including the price of the car, and have not included labor... It can be done for that budget of 25,000..... Trust me I'm basically doing the same thing, with more high quality race parts and I'm still under that budget
