So as you can see from the last post from projectresto, he installed custom made JM full length sub frame connectors with seat braces. I think it was a MAJOR MOD to have done, the before and after is night and day in the way the car feels and handles. Now I just need to go on a day cruise through some Texas twisty roads to see how they really feel. Total cost was $46 and lots of sweat from JM, it was 104* in Central Texas today. Thanks again projectresto (JM). Onto the pics....

Up in the air prep work was the longest part

The Full length sub frame connector

Projectresto (JM) test fitting

Extended bolts for the seat braces

Getting welded up by JM

Roger that, I have only gotten a taste of how the SFC feel driving it around the block and then back to my house. With the seat braces it seems like I get feedback through the suspension and have a better feel for how the LX is handling.

Got hooked up by projectresto83 again with a battery relocation. Little back ground though, I saw how JM had his battery mounted in the trunk of his 93 with some heavy duty cables. I thought "That is a kick a** set up". Just happened to acquire some 0/2 gauge cables. Gave one cable to a buddy for his welder and kept the other for the battery relocation. JM did 99% of the install and thanks for that one bro. I did do some when I could. JM also took care of the negative cable and new terminals. So now I have HUGE battery cables. The only thing left is to get a engine to chassis ground cable as big as the 0/2 gauge cables.

Battery now in the trunk

Negative Side ground point on the rear bumper mount

Heavy Duty Cables gotta have HUGE terminals for sure

Gotta clean this area now LOL

Looks more open now

And to think I told you to clean out that fender area before you took the picture lol.... I was gonna make your engine to chasis ground today but you brought the jeep instead. I'll get ahold of you this weekend about that ground and maybe a better battery hold down ......

Also just a FYI Mike...I know if its exactly a major thing to you but I have mentioned it.....IF you did go do some competition events and went by NMHRA rules we would need to redo some of the wiring and bring the starter solenoid to the rear but not a big deal for what you have planned....

Anyway....enjoy

To everyone else...we did relocate half the wiring harness from the driver side into the fender well to clean up the area without any mods except a little retaping.....

J, I was going to mention about the relocation of the wiring harness, but without pics I figured it would be hard to know what ya did. Thanks for doing that also

Went to a car meet tonight. Had a good turn out with lots of cars to see. Took a few pics and then the bad news hit us. The owners of the lot did not like people meeting on Friday nights and had the local PD run us off. So we headed to a city park a continued our discussion on cars and college football.

Great looking GTCS

Oatburnner's Ride, now lowered with Racecraft Springs

Nice SN95

KB!!!

Mach 1

Was told this had over 1000HP

6.6, yes please!!!

I like low riders also

After getting run off, nice shot of Mine, Projectresto83, Oatburnner and Josh's SN95
