3.27 gears

heavy 5 spd 2.73 car?? lol who you kiddin'??? aod weighs more than a t-5.......the aod needs a lower gear to get off the line due to higher 1st ratio 2.64 iirc vs a t-5's 3.35 add the loss of power through the auto and I'd still give the edge to the 5 spd car

If you lived in Texas, I have a stock 5.0 with a T5 and 2.73's. I'm down to run. Oh and OP I made some videos for ya in your Mid-Pipe thread.

here's a link to my bike on my "other" forum, i havent had the time to take any pictures lately, its either been snowing or im in a mad rush to get in a 30 min ride, so cleaning and a photo op arent exactly at the top of my list of priorities... lol.
as for the FFR '33, its been a long debate about that thing. my deposit is in and my tentative ship date was 05/17/11 (my birthday), but ive delayed that until i figure things out. mainly, ive helped build one too many '33 's and im getting kind of sick of them...
dont get me wrong, its a NASTY looking car, but it's in it's 1st generation and has a few major issues that need to be sorted out, and, quite frankly, for $20K i pretty much want to bolt things together and take off
the major issues go like this:
-its IMPOSSIBLE to fill the tank without spilling; the filler neck looks like a capitol "N" basically...
-almost ALL of the front suspension components need to be cut / hacked to fit and get the alignment correct
-the car sits ~.5" off center, doesnt sound like a lot, but when you look straight on its noticeable
-the bars in the grille are nowhere close to being straight, looks bad IMO
-the rear axle isnt centered in the wheel well
-the battery is in the WORST location ever imaginable
now, dont take this as me bashing FFR, i 100% support them and all of their products, i just dont feel like having to mess with this much stuff...
the Cobra (allright 65 roadster because carroll shelby is an *******...) is currently in its 4th generation, and has all the kinks worked out pretty much. and i still think it looks just as good as the '33, its just that there are (relatively speaking) a lot more of them than the '33...
so i talked to Dave (the co/owner) and he said to just let him know what i decide, they have my $$$ so my pricing is still locked in, i just need to decide which one i want
right now im kinda leaning towards the 65 though... lol
