Default suspension suggestions

I hate admitting it, but suspensions aren't really my thing.

What would you guys recommend for a 500hp street car that sees the track.

Are coil overs necessary or just nice?

Adj. control arms, or are tubular with poly bushings good?

what springs?

stock struts? 90/10? 70/30?

and I would like to be budget minded.

Thanks.

How much track use? Cus a whole drag set up like mine rides horribly on the street. Not soft or stiff but it just handles really bad doesn't like corners etc

i do not know much about drag suspensions but i have done a decent amount of work and research on my suspension. i have always used maximum motorsports they have great yech advice and will be happy to help you with your build. there quality is great, a little pricey but well worth it in my opinion. they have a free catalog and a decent website. good luck mike

a nice budget setup that will hook like a ***** is just this:

hpm mega bite jrs
subframe connectors
90/10's + 50/50's
air bag the right rear with about 8psi
dump all sway bars

you cant take turns at 90 mph.... but it'll hook. you can always put the sway bars back on for extended driving, and all the hi dolla stuff is unnecessary imo

ok DP TIME !!

after seeing limited track time....

just do the energy suspension poly kit (whole car)
and the hpm's

thats it, it'll feel like a vette if you also do the eibach kit. an older vette lol... but still a completely different animal than a pony
