oh wow, you mean it would cost me 3-4k to swap in a used t5.... /sarcasm.

used t5 = 500? (you can get them new for 1k)
bell housing, clutches ect... couple hundred?
pedal assembly - 20? out of a junk yard?

If the car is worth it to you I don't see how it could be more than the car is worth....

I'd say if you manage to get all scrap yard parts it wouldn't be too much.

So can anyone tell me if an 83 v6 stang would have a c3 or c4? If it has a C3 can you build them like a c4?

in my neck of the woods a 5spd swap is around 500-600. right now i have about 300 in my 5spd swap. you just gotta look for deals. i think i have an extra bellhousing in my garage
