I get embarrased easiley I guess. I did finally get a camera so, I can actually make a thread with pics this go around I guess.

Hey maybe after I get my car back together I will trailer it up the colorado so it can blow up this time on film next to your car. If you put the 600 shot on yours that everyone is wating for, I promise I will bring it up.

hmm, your issues sound like it could be any number of things, warped head/block for the head gasket issues, you running studs I assume?

heads were fresh mill and the block is straight. yea I run studs and Cometic head gaskets it is strange they dont blow real fast it seems to be over time. I think maybe I am asking to much of pump gas but I just dont know 20 degrees of timing and 15psi. with a intercooler I dont feel is real bad and the A/F high 10s to low 11s so that is not lean maybe even a bit to rich which I have seen cause some issues at times also. Back pressure is very high even with no exhaust like over 2/1 so I am thinking that is one of the major issues one fix at a time is where I am at. then I am gone to drag some more timing out of it also. I also know the block is not moving around it is a R-block. Took me a summer with the old S/C to get it all worked years ago so I will get this I am sure.

would be nice if you could get the temp's of the exhaust, and intake or what ever its called to see if the combustion is just SUPER hot.

Something odd is going on.

Something odd is going on.
I had a intake temp. around 198 under boost but it was reading that from the stock location so it would have been cooler. I have a data logger on my system that's how I know that. exhaust temps I dont know but I am sure they are well over 1600 as my S/C set up ran 1450 to 1500 under full boost at the end of a run. I never hooked up the EGT with the turbo set up after I got the wide band but I may hook it back up. Yep, something strange is gone on that is for sure. I really think I am on it with the back pressure thing I HOPE LOL. I guess the next thing it will be gone to a dyno if it happens again within a year. I have one a guy said he would rent me for 75 hr plus 150 for him to strap it down.
