actually, I compared my car against the XFI... the valve events are in quite different places.

I bought a whole valvetrain kit.

Cam, springs, locks, retainers, link bar lifters, timing set...

Total was ~$1100

billet core, billet timing set (i think), blueprinted and matched lifters... I think they might have been titanium locks... I dont really recall, so far from home, and the car has been together for quite a while!

I didnt want to cheap out...

I wanted to do the titanium vlvtrain upgrade but couldnt choke it down at the time! I eventually will go back with tit locks and retainers with some beehives for the weight savings on the vlvtrain. and the extra rpms if needed!

Are you comparing to my XFI cam? Cause if so, it is .570 lift with 1.6 rockers. And it is in my Firebird with an SBC...

actually, no...we are not.
Look up XFI236HR-14...
Its .579/.579 and 236°/248° @ 0.050 lift, with a 114° LSA

Keep in mind that the SBC cams are different than the SBF.
