I have seen alot of people switch to carb because they have an issue with their car and they can't figure it out so they just go to the simpler setup......but yet they still ask alot of questions because they don't know what they are doing.

I didn't swap mine to carb. Mine started as a carb BUT I will be switching to EFI sometime this year. I am still collecting the parts I need.

I've been considering going to carb as well since I like the cleaner look with a lot less wires. IMO the carb looks tougher as well and is lighter on the front end compared to the massive size of the upper intake for a FI setup.

The prior owner has already made a mess of the engine compartment. The A/C was deleted and some sensors cut. There are loose plugs all over the place. At some point in the future I may just pull the engine out and rip out half the wiring harness. I'd prefer a clean looking engine bay with nothing more than I need to keep the engine running and to monitor it.

If you do swap to a carb setup you don't need the 3 harnesses that run the EFI motor. Its the main harness, 02 harness, and injector harness. No reason to cut into any of the harness

Money, less expensive for carb set up (carb, intake, dist) compared to upper and lower intake, injectors, MAF,TB,and all supporting sensors. When I started work at garages all we had was points and carburetors. I prefer the newer components.

x2, the price of a good set of injectors, intake manifolds, maf, TB, and computer could cost more than HCI and carb. I admit FI is better but at a much more of a price. Just my o2
