Default 1990 GT Turbo Install

Hows it going fellas, Just thought I would see if anyone has done a turbo install using the ebay turbo GT45 Y2004K, I know its not the best turbo around but I am trying to build a low budget stang for now. I have a complete stock block, My plans is to keep it arround 400-500hp, I have 3:73 gears that I plan on installing, with a TCI streetfighter valve body, I have worked GT40 heads, Xe270hr-14 cam, Typhoon intake. So any info anyone has on installing this type of turbo or a similar setup. Injector size, flange, downpipe size, wastegate, blow off valve, turbo location, custom tune, or any other custom fabrication that needs to be done. Thanks guys

+1 to on3performance.

DO NOT buy a ebay turbo kit. most of them are just half assed piping, and a chineese turbo that will explode after 1000 miles.

+1 with on3performance... I went 11.78 last year with stock heads and bottom end with a b303 cam and a lot of supporting mods. I switched to a pony down stage 3 this year though.

why not just spend a few more $$$ and get a Master Power t70 more then enough turbo to last you for a few years and are very reliable and priced right. I think that is one of the upgrades with the on3 kit. Are you trying to make your own kit or are you buying one? I would look into BG turbos and Pony down stuff also and look around on some of the used stuff turbo kits are showing big time on the used side.
