Painting over freeze plugs?

I was about to paint my motor, and i know everything that needs to be taped off but i wasnt 100% sure on the freeze plugs, should i paint over them or tape them off?

I don't see why it would make a difference.

yes you can paint over them

i paint over them unless there are brass ones but thats just cause the brass looks cool
