Default sn-95 maf question

hey guys so i have a stock 94-95 sn95 maf. i have a no name CAI for the 87-93 setup. the lower pipe is smaller than the maf opening. i would like to do this with as little $ as possible but also do it right. is it ok to attach a cai/filter right to the maf or do i need to run a tube b4 i attach the filter? thanks mike

yes you can, there is a very slight fuel issue you may or may not be concerned with.

i have a c&l maf and when you mount the filter on it... you need a diff sampling tube cuz it leans it out

this might explain a bit... http://www.cnlperformance.com/calibration.html

but yes you can
