Mods for a 95 GT
 

Just purchased a 95 gt. Got a couple of modification questions that u would recommended. What like 2 know what kind of Cam you recommend for a Stock 5.0? I was told a E303 is a the way to go. Also if you drop a cam in is there any others mods you should add with a Cam. I want a Posi rear end wit a 3.73 gear ratio. What do u recommend to convert it to that. Thanks.....

Stock cam... No and's, If's, or but's!

Replace your heads and intake before you change your cam.

there is no perfect cam, it really has to do with what you want to do with the car. Turbo, super charged, natually asperated? Street daily driver, drag car or something else? We can't tell you what would be good for you just by knowing the year and color of the car.

The stock heads are the bottleneck. Swapping cams won't give you the hp you want without changing the heads, too. And the e303 is ok but it's ancient. Get something newer.

Your car has a Trac-lok limited slip. Just get the gears you want and replace the clutch pack when you install them.

Yes unless you do an intake with the cam at the least you wont be gaining anything from it! If you have that cam already then use it if not opt for a better one!

The rearend you dont want posi they suck unless you have a sole drag car, get the M-4700-C carrier rebuild kit it has the carbon fiber clutches and restack in this order G-R-F-R-R-F-R-F-S and you will have all the 2 wheel gripping you want added preload will come with the new s-spring with the kit and insuring the spider gear backlash is between .001-.006.
That will get you where you wanna be with your rearend!
The carrier rebuild is fairly simple but if you have no clue on the ring and pinion install get a good shop to do it!
