Okay I think I found out why mine is so damn slow! I swear my bone stock 2003 focus (115hp) accelerates faster than this thing.

Looking in my door jam I see my car is equipped with a 2.73 rear gear and T 5 transmission.

Getting a 3.73 put in next week to see if it has a bit more pull.

Anyway I love the Mustang feel and sound so I will try and get some gears and maybe toss a good Head on it.
Haha! Now that you have a v8, you will need two heads... lol.

and what a stock 5.0 SN95 coupe is a rocketship?...

me and Adder got pretty good numbers on stock 5.0 longblocks and getting 300rwhp out of a pushrod 302 isnt that hard, you just have to not be a moron...

the weight is the issue, my '90 vert was tagging in at 3600lbs

so your probably in pickup weight range at close to 4000

4.10's, ET streets, and a 100 shot will knock down some 13.30-13.50's for you

Yeah mine is 3160 without me in it and yes it isnt a vert but that only adds a couple 100 lbs. My car is full interior and hasnt been cut anywhere. My yellow car was 34 something cant remember and it was a gt.

bottom line no matter the car, you have to put money and work into it to get returns! ex: moving out of its own tracks........
