hurst shifters are really NOT all that great... If you want a good shifter, I have a B&M Ripper sitting on the bench out in my garage... I can have my wife box it up and mail it to you.

$85 shipped and its yours!

Thank you that is tempting!!! But I'm just looking for something alittle better then stock. My stock one is perfect condition. I like the hurst b/c all it came with and looks good. Is the hurst junk compared to factory???

^^^I'm not a fan of that hurst one = cheesy....when I had a t-5 in my 85 , I ran the competition billet one and it worked great, now I have a tremec with a mgw = great also

like I said my hurst billet one piece unit did well, as does the mgw but I have also driven a few rides with the pro 5.0 shifter and it is a nice tight shifter also

i have a b&m ripper, but my favorite was the old skool hurst with the "blade" shaft.

anyways.....great deal on adders... but if your in a pinch......remove the stock rubber crap and bush the stock shifter. about 7-10 washers if i remember right.....removes all the slop.

the stocker is a hurst FYI, just not a short throw, but the big diff is in stiffness...and you can do that to the stocker for about 2 bux
