Default Post your 347 builds and 1/4 times

I searched and couldn't a thread with numerous builds and 1/4 times. I would like to know what parts people are running and their results...

So far I am thinking AFR 185's... Not sure on intake or cam. The car needs to pass smog...

If you need to pass smog, get a supercharger.

I think he is asking for 347 specific applications to get an idea of what to expect!

that's way to broad a question, it aLL depends on the build and how the car is set up, I've seen all the way from 12 sec 347's to 9 sec n/a 347's

I would use this thread to decide a set-up, so broad is what I am looking for.

That is what he is asking, your combo and the results! but thats voodoo on here!

I`ll give an example: My 347, Vic jr heads, efi vic 5.0 intake, 75mm tb, C&L 76mm induction comp nitrous cam, 1.6 rockers, 1 3/4 shorties, 2 1/2 x pipe, dynomax mufflers, 3.55 gears, aode 3500 stall 10.2:1 CR. I have ran 7.80 in the 1/8th n/a we dont have a local 1/4!

Thats just the edge of potential, i havent made a pass turning over 4800 rpm it was my first time with the car since the new engine and was just getting some test passes.

I'll give you my specs, but they aren't going to pass any smog test and you aren't going to want to drive it on the street very far.
Dss extreme pistons 11.1 compression, billet crank, AFR 205 race outlaw heads, Cam inovations custom ground solid roller cam .600 lift, vic Jr intake, holley 850 4150 carb, long tubes, C4 mighty might transmission, Art Carr 4,000 stall, moser spool with 4.10s. Car runs 11.40 @119 on motor 10.2 @132 on a 175 shot shifting at 6,800
