Question Performance bolt ons for 87 GT READ STICKEYS!!! NOT TECH!!!

We have a 87 GT that we are playing around with and I wanted to here what some of the good solid Bolt ons would be.Can the stock 87 5.0 with just bolt ons go low 13 seconds maybe even a 12.90 with out TB,Heads and cam.I can use all of the help we can get.List-pulleys,headers with full exhaust, gears,CAI,maybe bigger mass air, timing 14 degrees, adjust fuel pressure, lighten car up,stickey tires and better clutch.I cant forget suspenion is the key,Let me know your thoughts. Thanks

You cant do it without a power adder! You have to make a certain power to weight ratio and have the right amount of traction, and a E7 head wouldn`t be able to make the power n/a!

MAF converstion if you want, nitrous for money (limits with supporting fuel mods), the right gear, suspension and good clutch for 5spd, and a good driver!

With mine as is i can get into the low 13`s n/a! i have went 8.50 in the 1/8 mile. Its a GT40 crate and its SD for now starting to gather the conversion parts! I dont have anything upgraded fuel wise so it goes lean so it should go faster than the .50`s

My 88 LX when it had speed density with stock engine (intake to oil pan) Shorty MAC headers, off-road H-pipe, Rustmaster mufflers, K&N drop-in filter, 3.55 gears, worn out 26x8.5" slicks and a 100hp shot of NOS ran 7.96 in the 1/8 mile which is about 12.45 in the 1/4 mile. Went 8.40 off the bottle.
