Thanks adder! Ok, so I might just look for say a f150 motor to get the intake also? Will my harness and all hook right up without issues? Which would probably bump the price up to 600-700 I would guess? Oh, the iron gt 40s, best place to grab them is where? And I just found 3.55s from a buddy so looks like ill run those. Sorry to keep asking so much but I'm getting excited haha. For the transmission that mjr mentioned, what's the best aod option out there that won't kill my pocket?

3.31 or 3.55, the scrap prices are high right now so it maybe hard to get anything cheap!

Havent used a set of 3.31 since i recently stumbled upon them in a Ford van lol!

Ok, adder, I know u said stock 351 and gt40s. What about cam? I will probably be doing the 351 and trans, and saving up for the turbo later. What might I expect for times without the turbo?

without the turbo maybe 15's, no faster than stock, with the snail watch out lol.

3.55 gears will be a good choice, you can get over the line at 125mph with a stock size tire, thats a DAMN fast car bro.

IIRC you CAN use the truck lower just swap your upper onto it, my 95 F150's 5.0 didnt look any different on the bottom me thinks...

as for a cam, something relatively small with a wide LSA, actually for the price look into an F303, decent turbo cam, not the best option but you can prolly pick one up real cheap too...

Ok. I'll look into that. How much would it open it up if I get away from the gt40s and go with a set of maybe darts or something? Just thinking other options

Trick Flow or AFR or even Eddy Vic Jr's would really light the thing up.
Any of these would need the right set-up on the short block to really be
able to see the max output of them....

Ok, well I found a 94 351w. A friend of a friends. Anyways, shortblock for 350. Not blown up, bone stock he bought as a back up. I'm searching for the rest of the parts now. But. Are you guys saying that it will be a pointless swap until I get the turbo set up?
