With a 3.55 you can drive it like you want and still get a decent track time, hell with my 140mph combo as adder calls it i ran 7.80 in the 1/8. That just gives you an idea! Mine is EFI AODE and radials!

With the nitrous you can roughly deduct 1 sec from that time in theory i havent done it yet, waiting on the supply of nitrous to return and the price to go down!(back to 3.50lb or cheaper)!

Gimmie your trap speed for the 1/8 mile run you made, and I'll tell you exactly what gear you were in, and what RPM you were turning. That is ofcourse IF any of the build info you have posted is even anywhere close to correct.

Better yet, lets assume you can turn ATLEAST 6250 rpm's.
In second gear, with your AODE and 28" tires (as you have claimed to have) Your car would be turning 100mph at 6250rpm. So this horse**** about shifting into 3rd at the lights... BS... and YES, I AM calling you on it.
6250rpm's in 3rd gear, would be 147 mph. So IMHO, you hav a 140+ mph combo, which would be great if you had a 700+ hp car that ran mid 9's... But you don't!

Considering how far your car would be off its actual power band, in 3rd on the 1/4 mile track... You would be lucky to see 12.5!

PROVE ME WRONG!

So, you possibly have a mid to low 12 second car... Your **** is slow!!! You yourself keep stating your 1/8 time, but never post a mph. Nor have we ever seen slips from you. You talk all big and bad, but say that you wont go to a 1/4 mile track because its 100 miles from your house.

THE ONLY TRACK CLOSE TO MY HOUSE IS 136 MILES AWAY. It stands to reason why I don't have piles of slips. So you can take your attitude and shove it up your inbred redneck ***.

Hey man you can go **** yourself! If i ever ran across you i`d bitch slap the **** out of you! My time slip was posted on here i cant remember where! I went 7.80 at 86mph never seen 5200rpm much less 6250!

As far as combo take a look at (21 gun salute to my tranny) post 12,13,14 have pics of the AODE!

Engine pics are in the thread Engine almost done!

The 7.80 was with the TFS street intake with a bbk cold air with a stock MAF, now i have my Vic 5.0, 76mm C&L kit with calibrated meter and the gemini NX kit for this intake with a NOS progressor!
http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/706/timeslipc.jpg/

That was shifting at 4500 rpm into 3rd at the et laser!

If you would get more track time instead of number crunching then you know that many different combos run very different!

Hell this car has no tuning done , run 10* base with the stock ecm! It even has stock rails lines and tank only upgrade is the 255 pump and aeromotive reg!

3500 stall with a PA vlv body, 3.55`s and 275/60/15!

Once i have time a new slip will be posted and that will be N/A with the new intake and induction system, and then a pass with the nitrous also!

Now if you would PLEASE post your 1/8 mile slip there killa since you dont have any 1/4 mile????

With a 200 shot on paper i should be over 600 so it wont be far from your mystical 700hp need of the 3.55 and tall tire???

Like i hvae said before i frequent 1/8 mile tracks thats where the moneys at around here! if i get a mid 6 spraying i have far passed my original build goal!

OP there you go a slip and combo for a good idea of what you may do or best my car with yours!
And be able to drive where ever you want!

4.10s are the way to go. you will see a decrease in gas mileage. usually only a few less per gallon. a few miles less per gallon is all i've experienced.
