But that's not on a 'stock' motor. Porting is not 'stock'; changing RR size is not 'stock'; a 'stock' motor would be along the lines of exhaust, tune, aluminum driveshaft, etc. changing a component on the motor or modifying existing components would make the vehicle no longer 'stock' if not by definition alone.

to the OP...I do believe that your situation and mine are pretty close. I'm obviously shooting to make more power out of my notch, just like your doing with you car. Wallet says otherwise when it comes to purchasing power. Honestly there is no reason why you cannot make 300 hp with a GT40 setup. As the boys above have said, go look at corral. There is post after post of setup's. You really can't get too upset, you asked for advice, you got it, and didn't like it.
It also has alot to do with what you want to put on the car. Mine, I want to stay in the Ford motorsports realm of parts. Gt40 heads, Gt40 intake, and FRPP cam. Is there better cam's and heads, intakes out there? ABSOLUTELY! But I don't want to have the same thing every other mustang gear head has either. Seems as though Gt40 setup's are becoming a distant memory. Granted I'm going to be using ancient technology. E-303 cam is frowned upon because there are far better cams out there. I got a good deal on it, and it's going to compliment my setup. The Gt40 setup that I'm going to use, has been used and abused for years with good results. There are guys that have DUMPED money into their gt40 heads, one of which that outflowed a set AFR's. But he had some serious money in them. Was it cost effective. I would guess not. But that's what he wanted. You do what you wanna do man. It's your car, you build it. Plain and simple.
Oh and don't mind adder...he's just bi-polar....

Got this in a PM...
Seems like the OP got a tad butt-hurt. All I have to say to him is... Know thy enemy!
