im about to look at a 95 gt tha has a vibration to it guy says its almost nonexsistent when driving normal but under hard acceleration theres vibration car has this as folows car has 152k

upr chromoly control arms (uppers and lowers), upr diff snubber, and new diff housing bushings. The car has the original posi ,with 3.73 gears,and will need to be replaced due to the high mileage, but I have a like new 28 spline posi that I will include with the car. The car runs and drives great but the rear end has a vibration under heavy acceleration. Suspension: KYB 9 way adjustable shocks, eibach springs, sub frame connectors, stock front swaybar, and hotchki caster camber plates, and the car rides on 99-04 GT wheels and nexen tires that have about 30% tread.


is there anything i should look into that could cause this vibration he seems to think its do to the milage of the car could this be?

From what you posted the vibration is in the rear end or is it a motor/wheel vibration? Need more detail.

look at the UCA mounts on the body, more than likely the poly bushings ruined them and the torque under WOT is cause the rear to move a little bit...

poly bushings = fail............
