gears + labor is about $500-$600

its not something you do on your own, unless u are ASE mechanic

try to drive a 4.10 car...you'll quickly change ur mind
i understand where you are coming from, in a worry free world where i don't have to care about the money i spend on gas and stuff, i'd get the 4.10's without a doubt, and my mpg is god awful already. also i've never taken my car to the track yet. i'm just looking for a little better acceleration performance for my cruises. My GT has 111K miles and i don't want to manhandle it constantly. Also i don't want my top end speed to be compromised as much as the 4.10's do. I've been tryin to push my car over 125mph and the 4.10's would def inhibit that

haha no like i know you are right, and i want the 4.10's but i just dont know if they are the right ones to get for me right now. i love 0-60 launches. But i am financially restrained. so maybe gears aren't my best option in general? maybe i should go for a tune?

The effects are you go faster.

The next thing you SHOULD do are the gears.

Bob is right hell I went from 3.73's to 4.30's lol
Your mpg will be hindered pnly because you can't keep your foot out of it lol

True story I drove one of my aunt's Suzuki forenza's at her car lot and at 65mph the tach was almost to 3500rpm! My stang with 4.30's is barely at 2600rpm and still get 18mpg 23 highway and it's 408 lol

a 75 or 80 shot kit will knock off a full second ET

maybe more since the added power will take care of some the lacking gear

i knocked 1.5 seconds off my stock '90 aod vert with an inferior ZEX 100 shot kit, cuz it only had 3.73's

it went from 15.60 to 14.10 (AOD car on street radials)
