Swap to a TKO - True cost?

Swap to a TKO - True cost?
Guys, I'm considering swapping my stock T5 for a TKO this winter.
So I'm sitting here with a bone stock 89GT which is my fair weather DD. I take it to the dragstrip 3-4 times a year and plan on putting it in the mid 12s with DRs. (hard launches and a 100shot ramped up with a controller)
I've persoanlly broke 3rd in a 94GT and I've wore out the syncros from quick shifting on two other T5's. So I'm thinking at the very least a "built" T5 like the one from D&D or Astro performance. But I'm also considering just stepping up to a TKO and be done with it. Possibly having a front plate put on to help insure the shifts. (I'm quick and love to do full throttle shifts)
With me doing the removal and install... including a new clutch.. what would be the true final cost of a TKO 500/600 to get my 89GT back on the road?

Find a slightly used one on Corral.
-used TKO 600
-used scatter shield
-new pilot bearing
-new clutch (I like my RAM)
-31 spline yoke
-TOB may or may not need replacing
-If you still have the stock quadrant, replace it with a nice aftermarket quadrant and firewall adjuster
Looking at 2500-3000 for everything.

Sorry about posting in the wrong area.
So considering 4.10s, DRs, 100 shot, and daily driving for 9 months out of the year. What pressure of clutch would y'all recommend?
My "commute" is mostly freeway driving at 65mph. So clutch stiffness is not a real big issue. But you know.. I don't want a killer clutch nor do I want a quick action one.

Thanks, I've been doing more looking and I'm considering one of the "built" T5 units that are priced @ $1200
Has anybody ever had experience with the hurst version? I live close to JEGS and can save a lot of money by just driving my parts over to them. Summit racing is also within driving distance. D&D is too.

the guy i sold my '95 to is parting it out, you can prolly get the entire trans setup for about 1400. that's a tko 3550 that worked great, mgw shifter, blowproof bellhousing, billett steel flywheel and mcleod clutch with plenty of life. he might even throw in the aluminum shaft/spacer with it too for that price. you're in ohio so it wouldn't be too much of a drive for you.
