DEPENDS, if you want 12 point or 6 point heads on the bolts, either is fine, if this is for the s/c ride I'd do studs, why?? >>>>> clamp > bolt down

can i fit the studs with the master cylinder on the car or would i have to remove that too? also if i could find a used set of heads like some eddy aluminum or something would that make a difference on the studs/bolts..

like said I would run studs also. I can remove the heads without pull the master and I run studs I have been doing it for years. But my engine mounts may be lower then yours. I do have a set of ARP bolts for sale if you are looking click on the like at the end of my sig. for the price LMK mine are the 6 point if I remember right

I also use the studs on mine and have no problem pulling the heads off with the brake cylinder still in the car.
You can call Summit ask them about your application. It's a 1-800 type number and they answer 24/7.....

you can screw the studs in after head is set, they have a allen head insert to do such, I just pulled my heads by doing such, and yeah I saw you on the corral in the turbo section iirc asking questions.....on3 set up should make and easy 450 rwhp, the kit I put on for a friend after a tune made 477/501, on a near stock set up with a few bolt ons, no worry about on3 the jokers over there like to bash them..lol

If I were you. I wouldn't run the ARP intake bolts. I am not the first person to have horrible luck with them galling up in the threads and breaking off.

Go to your local hardware store and you can buy some really nice grade 8 studs and nuts.
