Brake issue, I think
Just as the title says, I am having a squeak that I haven't been able to get rid off. It does it when the brakes are not applied. Once I apply the brakes, the noise goes away. I have fairly new shoes in the rear and almost new pads in the front. The noise is not the wear indicator because I checked that and again, the pads are good.
Any ideas?
Oh yeah, the noise is only noticed at slow speeds. Not sure if this helps.

lube the caliper slides, make sure backing plates are not touching rotors and put some lube on the back side of the pad where caliper piston contacts, if it persists try a different aset of pads, ceramics are best for reduced squeaking

Thanks mjr. I will give that a shot. I did the caliper slides today and checked the backing plates asa well. I will take it for a spin tomorrow and hope for the best. If that doesn't work, I may go ahead and slap on a new set of pads. It may be my problem.
