I priced everything off ebay and yeah it came out a lot cheaper! I couldnt find the block on lhs though. The only blocks they had that i saw were the boss 302 blocks and they were about $1600!

TFS R series intake or Edelbrock Vic 5.0

Mac longtubes

VRS OR X pipe

cat back of your choice (i like the Pypes Violators)

MEASURE for correct pushrod length

TFS intake elbow

75mm TB

get some ribbed Fox valve covers and paint them

fel pro complete gasket set

adjustable timing set

255lph pump

Aeromotive adjustable FPR

30# injectors

new starter

if you really want, get a new $699 shortblock from LRS

this should all be UNDER $3000 just look for used stuff and youll be a happy camper

put some 4.10's in the back and beef up the rear suspension and youre going to have a REALLY fun car, especially since EVERYONE thinks the pushrod SN95's are slow

look up some of xarmy187's video's and see what his does, and keep in mind he is at MAJOR altitude so yours will feel even better and run a good deal quicker
A few questions from the master list here. lol What does VRS stand for, and what would be the difference between that and an x pipe? What brand fuel pump and what brand for injectors? Also, why mac longtubes over the other makes? I should get ceramic coated headers right?

I have an Accel starter soo im good there. I'm going to do some youtubing to try to figure out which way to go on exhaust but if you guys want to throw some opinions out, I'm all ears.

VRS Off-Road X pipe...

VRS = company name

get the no-name 255lph on LRS its still a Walboro, FRPP 30#'s, and MAC makes a REALLY good product for the money, plus you can get 1 3/4" primaries into a 2.5" collector for the SN95's no one else really does that for less than an arm and a leg...

i like flowmaster or magnaflow exhaust, others are too loud/raspy for me it seems. I rather not **** off the neighbors every time I come up the street lol.

I have flowmaster 50s on mine - it's relatively quiet at idle but when I start it up or step on the gas it gets fairly loud and has a deep rumble.

If you want a bit more sound but still a deep rumble, you could choose flowmaster 40s.

I prefer the more agreesive tone, and soo many people have flowmaster. For good reason, but it's ok to be different. The flow 40's would be my second choice.
