Default Suspension options for a 84 Fox.

alright guys, lookin for what kinda suspension you guys are running, and how you like em.

plans for this car is just a daily driver, but i do want a lil bit more stance to the car. i'm not much of a drag racer as much as i might go AutoX or Drift every once and a while lol

Thanks guys

Maximum Motorsports. Nuff said.

I have a full MM set up and absolutely love it. Car handles like its on rails (literally!). Probably the best mod Ive done to the car so far. Getting ready to upgrade the brakes since Im overpowering them but thats different story.

There are a TON of options for the foxes. I autocross myself, and im going to run tubular a arms with perches, hard to find but I feel its better than a coilover conversion. Can get tubular k members, upgraded rear control arms even adjustable uppers. Do a little digging, you'll be surprised at what you'll turn up. Also if you want lowering springs you can't go wrong with H&R, they are a durable spring and the ss springs give a nice stance, firmer but still a solid ride.

At UPR Products, we carry tubular chrome-moly k-members, a-arms, upper & lower control arms, etc which dramatically improve traction on these cars. On an older Fox, I'd definitely recommend our full length sub frame connectors and torque box reinforcements. Swing by our website and check out what we offer for your '84 'stang. Keep in mind that MF forum members get a 10% discount on UPR parts.

What my ride came with was Eibach sportline, bbk lower control arms. Then I had projectresto put in some JM full length sub frame connectors with seat braces and the handling now is so responsive. Highly suggest FULL sub frame connectors.
