Default Smog pump delete kit screws?

Just like it says, I don't have the screws to install the delete kit and looks like most don't come with them. Can anyone tell me what size and type of screws used to attach your smog/delete kit?

Delete kit? Just remove it and run a short belt

I have that now but it is getting all chewed up. Is it possible my belt isn't short enough. The problem I am having is the belt almost touches on the idler pulley and it seems to be getting chewed up.

Any ideas?

I believe he's talking about an idler, its considered a "delete" because it takes place of the pump without searching for a different size belt. I believe you use the bolts that originally hold the smog pump in place

I don't have the bolts, do u know what size they are?

Also, for those of you using only the belt, what size are you using? I wonder if mine is too long. :-)

Just double checked and I am using a K060775 which I am assuming is a 77.5 inch belt. I was doing some surfing and looks like I need a 76 inch. Can anyone confirm this?

Take a piece of string and route it around your pulleys like you would your serpentine belt without the pump. Match up the start and stop points and measure how long the string is. This will give you an idea of the size belt you need, it may be off only slightly.

I went with the 77 and it seems to be working great. There is more room between the tensioner and the water pump.

Thanks for the help.

If your belt is almost touching at the idler pulley, its because you routed it wrong.
