What distributor to use
I've got a project I'm working on and I'm new to distributors. I've got a MSD 6200 ignition coming to me in the mail to fire off a 351W I'm building but I need advise on which distributor type to use. Seeign as the 351 is pretty close to a 302 I figure someone in the forum could help me out.
I'm still up in the air for what compression ratio to run but I know I'm going to use a 600 cfm carb, i got a pair of gt40p heads on the way, shorty headers, and that msd 6200.
Open to all suggestions on any subject of the build.
Would a good option be to get a used motorcraft points unit and convert it to a digital igniter like this? http://www.hot-spark.com/1-3FOR8U1.htm

I'm not hating on it but I'm gonna say it before someone else on here does.....
302 parts make 302 power....talking about the P heads....
Now if I am working with the same budget when I go to build a 351w myself sometime I might end up using my ported GT40's just because I am cheap.
And since you are using those heads and didn't mention anything about a power adder I would stick with the stock dizzy and the 6200 running that...
