Default look what i picked up today

Been needing a compressor so i can start doing some chassis work and painting and my 5 gallon wasnt cutting it, picked this up at an estate sale for $400 along with a box of spray guns and 2 electric drills.
Quincy 60 gallon compressor with a 302 head, thing is massive cant wait to fire her up

Those things are loud as hell. You're gonna wanna put that outside somewhere and run a pipe underground into your garage. Trust me.

not trying to be a dick here, but your completly wrong with this one. Most of the ****ty ones are very loud how ever this is a quincy dual stge compressor its so quiet you almost have to make sure its on. I kid you not I thought it was going to be really loud but i almost Shat my pants at how quiet it is.

jealous.

I have this little turd 3 gallon compressor and its ungodly pathetic. I can't even blow the dust off my car with a full tank. its out of air when im almost done.


sad thing is I bought it new from home depot, and spent like $125 on it.

^Its good to air up some tires when on the road....thats one thing I can't do... Kinda hard to lug a 35 gallon around.

haha yea. Well for the track and such I have a 7gallon tank I got from walmart for like $20. Fill it up to 120psi........... which takes FOREVER trying to get the 3 gallon to fill that 7 gallon up to 120psi.

works well and the tank is super light compared to the 3gallon with the compressor on it.

yeah we got a 5 gallon with compressor on it that we lug to the track weighs about 40 lbs or so and plugs into our generator
