i may be looking for another mustang in the spring. may be a silly question but i was wondering if the GT mustangs are less prone to rust due to the ground effects protecting the body? I'm in the North
My 93 is an original Cali car that migrated to TX and it is practically rust free. We will see how bad what little rust there is spreads this winter up here in Indiana when it sits......
i would guess also that more holes for the ground effects offer more places to rust. as well as the ground effects themselves rubbing through the paint, and or trapping sand/salt to speed it all up too
GT's are more prone to rust atleast here up north because of its ground effects the few up here in michigan that get dd'd arent even around anymore lol
