Does this sound like a starter issue?

The car sounds like the battery is dead for the first one or two cranks, then starts up afterwards. I changed the starter solenoid with a Motorcraft one to eliminate that side and it still does it, anyone have a clue? Here's a vid of the issue.

test the battery, test it before you start it, then after its running.

it should have about 12 volts just sitting there...then about 14 volts when its running

replace the cable that runs to your starter

^ check all your grounds. battery "after slow charge" should ready 12.78 too 12.79 volts and while running will be 14 volts.
Check ground from negative post to block you may find a bad place in cable going over to right side of block.

I haven't checked the battery although I might do that tomorrow. I checked the battery terminals and grounds and they're all clean and tight. I haven't lifted the car but I checked the ground to the block and it feels tight but I want to relocate it to the motor mount. Afterwards it started on the first try on two consecutive starts then went back to the same thing. I'm really hoping that relocating the ground to the motor mount will fix it.

Checked the battery, it's good shows 12.5 volts.

Will look into this. Where can I get a replacement? And is this an issue you had?

any part store will have it, and just go do it.

I looked it up on the at the parts store website and it didn't come up. LRS has 2, one for 79-85 and one for 86-93, my car is an 85 but a 92 motor, any idea what the difference is on the cables, I guess I would use the later one.
