I did the tubular k member thing on my street car. but it was mostly to free up space and make it look nicer since I had the thing apart anyway. It did shed 30lbs too (I weighed them both) which was an added bonus. I didn't go with tubular arms or coilovers though, I just put some poly bushings in the stock arms. the PA racing k member I use went in with zero problems.

id say leave it for a DD you will just end up with a lighter front end and tubular stuff but really no benefit for a DD unless you do more then just drive it around. Id sped the 1000 else where
