Default 351W heads

I have come across what I think is a pretty good deal. I found a set of 351w heads that need new valve seals and springs. They want $250 for the set. Is this a good deal and will they fit my 302? And if so are they going to be any better than the stock ones? Thanks guys!

I was also wondering if a 03-04 Cobra supercharger will fit on my 95 GT? I tried googling and couldn't come up with any definitive answers. Thanks for all the help! Sorry about the dumb questions, I'm still learning!

NO !!!!!!!

those are probably the DOOE heads from '69-'70

great heads but they are no better than gt40 heads from like a '93 cobra, and will need some work like hardened valve seats etc.

the DOOE heads are worth about $100-$150 for the set

real gt40's can be bought for $300 a set and nothing needed

yes better than stock, not huge but i like them.

DOOE and gt40 are basically just truck heads with bigger valves

Ok. I just found a complete running 95 SVT Cobra motor for $1300. Is it worth it? I assume I would also need the ECM and/ or a reflash and tune with this as well. And a new fuel pump. Anything I'm missing?

$1300 is WAY expensive... thats a $800 engine at the most.

Those 351w heads to use 1/2" headbolts.
302 blocks are all 7/16" head bolts.
For no more than those heads would do for you, they wouldn't be worth it if they were free.....
