Recommended Oil for 100k
My 93 is about to reach 100k miles and I was just curious on what oil you all would recommend me to use. Brand, type, weight.
Thanks.

With a roller cam, you can use the weight recommended in the owner's manual, and most any brand. I'm sure some will disagree with this. Oil is like politics and religion. Everyone has a different opinion.

valvoline has a high mileage oil, but it is expensive. Provided in all weights.

full synthetic 10-30
mobil 1 and castrol are fine
amsoil and royal purple are better but almost twice as much as compared to the 5 qt jug you can get from wally world
i use mobil 1 and change twice a year ( i only put about 5k miles a year, but if you drive yours normally, every 5k is fine on synthetic)

I'd use what you've been using and continue with your regular oil changes.
