thinking of getting a new throttle body for my 93...was looking into the 70mm BBK throttle body kit, if I were to pick this one up would I need to get the same size MAF?

And has anyone got any feedback on the bbk throttle body?

MAF is matched to injector size. No personal feedback on TB. I've used several Professional Products TB with no problems.

Generally speaking, the MAF should be slightly larger than the TB. For what you have at the moment, a 65mm TB would be a better choice. I've used a pair of BBK TB's without any issues.

I am also in the market for a throttle body, can I ask why the bbk is a bad choice Adder. I was close to getting one so I am glad I saw this.

they whistle, which is annoying. On the two that I have installed, i have had to remove the TB butterfly and smooth it out. BBK uses a stamping procedure to cut out the blade, which leaves a flashing on the edges. This usually causes the TB blade to stick in the bore if you snap the throttle shut.

Then of course, there is that little issue that happened with car owned by my PSG. The center rails that hold the TB blade in place, snapped! He got lucky, and we found the screw that got sucked into his engine. In his particular case, it was a GOOD thing that his car had some oil blow-by. The screw that came loose from the TB, got stuck in some sludge, and didn't make it completely down into the engine!

Very interesting, someone had that screw just back out and got sucked down into the engine this past summer at my work. That was just a small engine luckily. Would BBK cover any damage if that happened at the risk of having their name go bad? Just wondering what you think. Have you got any of my messages concerning the shifter? or you just ignoring me like a ****.

Doubt they would pay you for damages. They would probably blame it on you not installing the part right or something along those lines.
