I realize all that, but since I already have everything it's what I'm using...have you had the patriot heads/ weiand intake combo before?
no....but it's not that different of a combo except the heads.....meaning what cc?? runners/chambers?? The valvetrain components in said heads are no where near that of the quality of afr and tfs hence the cheaper price.....as far as how yours will perform, just put it together and make sure you do all the "checks" upon assembly....I never tuned mine to full potential, I only ran the combo for a few months and 1 track trip and then the mishap and I was tired of 302 combos so I went straight to a 347 after that and never looked back, although I plan to resurrect the combo in the near future cause I always liked it, it will run again
Yea I do realize more gains are to be made with afr heads, but my budget is only so limited...maybe I will look for some used ones...
just use what you have.......see what it runs, who knows, it may surprise you, mine wasn't the most optimal but at the time it ran with most under achieving street/strip stroker combos in my area
