Default How much should I pay?

Im looking at buying a 1983 Mustang. I believe its an LX but I have not looked at it for a while. It has 86000 original miles... but its not running. It shouldnt take too much to get it running but ill check it out closer tomorow. Can you guys give me a price range and Ill try and get more details up ASAP. Thanks!

Yeah sorry I wasn't sure where to put it. Its a 5 speed manual transmission. The body is in really good shape no dents or dings that are worth talking about. It has been garage kept for the last several years and under a tarp. Still think $1500?

For a car not running, yeah MAYBE 1500, as I said if in pretty nice shape. The thing about a non running car is that yeah it may not take much, it may take a lot to fix.

What would you pay if it was running?

Sorry for a late response, meant to bet back but got busy. Without pics, its hard to say, but if its a nice shape car not needing too much then I would probably go 3 grand with it running. That's if though, the thing is the carbed engines took a little while before they generated some real solid power and that 83 probably has a 7.5 rear end in it still. Post some pics though it'll help us make a better judgement
