The (BOSS 347) is a 331 kit with a 4.125 bore and DSS has good stuff we used a dss 331 kit in my buddies engine there rods and pistons are a different hieght and length though... They use a 5.315in rod and a taller piston in there kits i forget right ofhand what the pin hieght was.

He opted for the DSS main support and windage plate which was a total bomb imo the dipstick will not clear the windage plate and there are no warnings of that so we didnt know until we had it all together and in the car!

The stock 5.0 pans come in 2 different designs you can hardly tell by looking at them seperately one will clear the mains, support, plate and pickup one will not...(even on stock blocks with main supports)

The oil pickup for the BOSS block is about 100$ you can try and bend or mod a stock one but you wont have fun doing it.

DSS overall is a great company and have quality parts just over-priced on some of it!
